About the School

Tularam Rajaram Saraswati Vidya Mandir Inter College was inaugurated on 1 July, 1991 under the patronage of Mr. Gopal Krishna Mehrotra ji. It began as Saraswati Vidya Mandir in a modest space at Kila Street, Kashipur, with just 25 students in Class 6.

Mr. Triloki Nath Gaur was the first Principal of the school. Through the tireless efforts of the Management Committee, Mr. Ramkripal Agarwal—a social worker and education enthusiast—donated land for the school in 1989 in memory of his father. This enabled the construction of the present campus, today home to a huge building with 64+ rooms.

Brothers and sisters studied together until the year 2000. Recognising the need for separate education for girls, a girls' school was started under the name Taravati Sarojini Devi Balika Saraswati Vidya Mandir Inter College. In the current session of 2019–20, girl students were once again admitted to the main school.

The school received High School recognition in 1996 and Intermediate recognition in 1998. Since then, every year 7–8 students of the school appear in the district and state merit list.

In 2013, the Management Committee purchased a plot of four bighas adjacent to the school building, with a plan to build additional classrooms and a hostel facility in the future.

Today, under the guidance of 42 dedicated Acharyas, over 2000+ students receive cultured education for the all-round development of their personality. The school boasts a library, computer room, separate laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, and facilities for Basketball, Badminton, Cricket, Volleyball, and Kabaddi. The Kabaddi team has participated at the international level.
